Dumfries Hockey Club provides hockey coaching, gameplay and competition in a safe, fun and challenging manner for boys and girls. In line, with Scottish Hockey's Player Pathway, we provide for the needs and development for children between P1 and S2 at Youths on a Tuesday evening, allowing them to transition into adult competitive hockey and adopt an active lifestyle through hockey.

Youth Hockey also provides a vehicle for our U18s who are following leadership and/or sports courses through their schools/colleges/universities and, along with other club volunteers, take on the role of Youth Facilitator and Coach for our Youth Section. Then, they can enjoy their own hockey session, along with the O18s.

Youth Sessions current timings are:
P2-P5 - Tuesday 5.30 pm to 6.30pm - Cost £10 per month
P6-S2 - Tuesday 6.00 pm to 7.00pm - Cost £10 per month
S3-S6 Boys - Tuesday 7 pm to 9.00 pm - Cost £17 per month
S3-S6 Girls - Wednesday 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm - Cost £17 per month

ALL WELCOME - COME ALONG AND TRY, AND SPEAK TO THE COACHES.

All sessions are covered by our Child Protection and Wellbeing Policy, and a Safe in Care form has to be completed every year for each child as well as a membership form.
