On Sunday, Dumfries ladies 2s tied their game with Stepps 2s. Stepps started off strong scoring 2 goals in the first 2 quarters. Dumfries fought hard and then in the 3rd quarter Molly Quinn scored a goal for Dumfries with an assist from Effie Gunn. Entering the 4th quarter hungry for an equaliser Gladys McClymont scores the second goal for Dumfries from a short corner. Finishing the game 2-2, a score Dumfries will happily take after bouncing back from 2-0 down! Effie Gunn was voted player of the match from the opposition and the captains player of the match was Jane Young as they both demonstrated great skill and technique. Both teams played very well with a lot of young talent shining through!
The 2's have a weekend off this week before they travel to the Isle of Arran on the 22nd February!
