Today’s home game verse Hillhead was another one for the books. The sun came out and so did the Ladies 1s team. Two quick goals were put away in the first 10 minutes starting Dumfries off strong and holding possession in the first quarter. As Dumfries moved into the second quarter they showed strong passing around the back and some quick thinking saw Dumfries capitalise on the attack multiple times during the third and fourth quarters. The final whistle went giving Dumfries a strong 7-0 score. Goals scored by Tori, Jen L, Bex, Beth, Michelle and a double for Penny. Player of match going to Bex - very well deserved for her countless number of runs up the side line and strength driving the ball to the circle. Special thanks to the umpires and everyone who stayed out to support the woman’s team from the side line. The woman’s team is on a roll this season let’s keep the goals coming!
