The Ladies travelled to Strathclyde Uni for 1st round of the West District cup with a mix of 1s and 2s (very young and very old)

Hoping to carry on from Saturdays goal feast the ladies didn’t take much time in scoring 1st with Tori Barbour finding bottom corner after 4mins. The rest of the quarter the ladies were finding their feet with 1st eleven debuts Anna McKinley, Effie Gunn, Eilidh Topping and Gil O’Shaughnessy all fitting in nicely.
After no more goals in the 1st quarter the ladies knew they needed to get another to settle the nerves and Elen Austin dually obliged at the back post from a well-executed penalty corner, this was the start of the goals another 2 quickly followed from captain Jen Nicholson to make halftime score 4.0
2nd half took on much the same form as the 1st one way traffic towards the Strathclyde goal, next on the score sheet was Penny Milne x 2 and Tori bagging her 2nd of the day, Tiahni Rowcroft then bagged her 1st goal for the club ?
Going into last quarter the ladies did not sit back, it was time for captain Nicholson to complete her hattrick and goal of the day went to Emily Anderson’s tomahawk into the top corner ? then to top the day the 2 young guns Effie & Eilidh set each other up to score goals 11 and 12.
